Projects

Central Cambridge

This is a continuation of a previous job where we extended the design of the back garden to the front. For this project we began by breaking the existing driveway and pouring a new slab of C30 around 5cm bellow the required level. Then Charcoal paving blocks where used to outline the entire garden. We cut the brick fence posts out in order to allow for two cars to park parallel to each other. The front garden now flows seamlessly to the back.

Central Cambridge

For this job we were tasked with installing two partition walls in order to create new rooms. We used 15mm sound boards and rock wall slabs in order to reduce noise as much as possible. A sliding barn door was installed into one of the rooms to add to the aesthetic, which ran on a rail and required additional reinforcement to support the 65kg solid oak door. We ran new sockets to both sides of the door.

Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire

This Project involved restoring a wooden conservatory and installing bespoke windows. All of the old frames from the conservatory where taken out and replaced and by bespoke windows, with the addition of a stud wall built bellow them to match the height of the previous windows. We installed a new roof  to the conservatory and cladded the outside which was finished with white paint. A rotting window on the first floor was replaced. All windows were bespoke as to preserve the homes original appearance.

Central Cambridge

This central Cambridge garden required an entire rear garden landscape upgrade. We began by outlining the key features of the garden and  levelling the whole area. We replaced the old steps to match the new design. The tiles are 20mm vitrified tiles that are made for outdoor use. Charcoal paving blocks were used as an accent detail and boarder to the light lava grey tiles.

Gamlingay, Sandy

As a solution of extending the rear garden, we removed the old short fence from the front garden and extended an acoustic fence, using sleepers as a way to raise the level of the fence and retain the ground height in the garden. We also installed a new featheredge fence .

Central Cambridge

On this project, we designed and transformed a garden into a low-maintenance solution for a client. we removed an old building at the back of the shed, Following this, we installed a new short feather edge fence. The ground was levelled with new MOT Type 1, we then edged the entire garden with old slabs that had been pick up previously as a way to upcycle and reduce costs. we then laid out 20mm of sharp sand and used a wacker plate to compact everything before applying a weed membrane and installing the artificial grass. another membrane was used under the gravel at the back of the garden and more gravel was brought in. The tiles were pressure-washed and then regrouted. Lastly, we made a new window and door for the shed, as well as installing a gate at the garden entrance. trellises were also installed above the fence.
